Dear PW...

The saddest thing about this is that I have no good excuses. I don't have four kids, or live on a ranch with messy cowboys, I don't cook that much, I'm not busy homeschooling or writing books or an award-winning blog.

How do you do it? I mean put yourself out there so much, I feel so naked now sharing my dirt!

Dear PW

Ree,
I was so excited last week to see the green ring I made you on your website!!! I couldn't sleep and so was doing some surfing and THERE IT WAS!!!!

Hope you love it!

Dear PW

PW,

OMG!! I just had ice cream with my family and I decided to try the Haagen Daz coffee ice cream that you love so much. It is SO good!!! Like I even question your taste anymore, everything you rave about deserves your praises!!!

Did you know that Haagen Daz coffee ice cream has its own Facebook page? This stuff is seriously popular!

But, sheesh it is NOT low in fat! What do I expect with all the butter you use though-right? :)

Heart ya!

To The Creative Connection Event!!!

I am so excited to be on my way to Minneapolis with my husband. It will be a great getaway and learning experience! I am looking forward to the connections I'll make with other creative minds. But, of course I am most excited to meet Ree, the Pioneer Woman!!!
I'll be sharing information and pictures soon!

Dear PW

Dear PW,

I loved your post about blogging I am trying to be better at blogging and keeping up with it. I have no idea how you do it!! When we have lunch this week we can talk about it more, I have SO many questions! :)

I can't believe it is less than a week until I have lunch with you!! (Never mind that there will be hundreds of other people there for The Creative Connection Event!)  I am still planning what to wear-have you decided? I hope you wear those awesome boots of yours, I'd really like to see them in person. I checked them out online but they don't make a wide calf version for my fat muscular calves. I did just get some new makeup though and on my list was your recommended lipstick, which I like but am surprised by the color. I really thought you would be more of a dark lipstick kind of gal but this is a beautiful neutral. Oh, and I am so happy to hear you have discovered brown mascara-it truly is a redheaded girl's best friend!!
See you in a few days!

Dear PW

Dear PW,
My sister told me about the Creative Connection Event way back in March. We were definitely going to go and then she backed out. So, I was just going to go, and then decided it was too expensive. It had been in my mind and then two weeks ago I saw that you are going to be the keynote during the opening day lunch-I knew I HAD to go!!!! So, my wonderful husband has agreed to schedule our weekend away around the event so I can go!

I just have to remember my cookbook for you to sign and pray I don't forget how to talk when I meet you!

Also, could you please block off a few hours so you can effectively answer all my questions about photography, blogging, surviving sleep deprivation, self-tanning and my visit to the Lodge. You know, all the important stuff!

Thank you

Dear PW

Dear P-dub, widdy-diddy,

You have no idea who I am-I know; what a crying shame! I am goin
g to attempt to amend that. I figure if Ellen can make it onto the cover of “O” magazine with her "O, Yes ICanCampaign ! " I can make it to Oklahoma for a fun-filled cooking, crafting extravaganza with you and some of your crazy friends, family or a bunch of random strangers!!

I have long been a follower of yours, from back in the days when you were www.pioneerwoman.typepad.com and I could never remember the whole thing, but thankfully my computer did because your blog was and still is the first thing I check in the morning! Your “Black Heels to Tractor Wheels” had me hooked. That was before your blog was organized into archives. I had to go back and read every entry so that I could start at the beginning and know what was going on-my husband thought I was obsessed! It was so worth it, I’m a sucker for a great love story and yours was so sweet and the photos of Marlboro Man helped it along so nicely. I never knew how inspiring photos of chaps and forearms could be!

Your recipes have been a huge success at my house and thanks to those man-pleasing recipes I too have more jiggle than I should and yes, I also own a pair of Spanx. Is there a woman alive that doesn’t?

Your punks are adorable I have two; I wish I could ship to your ranch many days-you wouldn’t notice two extra punks would you? They’d fit right in, my daughter would love to ride horses all day and my son is a red-head that loves to wrestle. Which makes me wonder-how did you have four punks without a red-head in the bunch? Here is a picture of my red-headed punk-he's two and trying to pee out in the woods like daddy for the first time. Just keepin' it real.

I’m a red-head too, never dyed it black though. Tried out the blond thing for a while but it just didn’t work for me. We could swap makeup tips for our pale selves, you seem to have the self-tanning down, except the time you forgot your feet of course!
